Originally from New Brunswick, Canada, I have served in both the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves, and in the U.S. Army.

I have a degree in sociology from Regents College, and a graduate degree in management from the University of Maryland.

I have two children. Florence, who was born in the summer of 1999 in Tennessee, and Joseph who was born at home in Connecticut, in the winter of 2002.

My wife and I currently live in Maryland, and I am now working for the federal government in Washington, DC. However, after a few years of an extremely long daily commute, I'm currently searching for a job that would facilitate living closer to my work. We'll see what becomes of that...

My hobbies include hanging out with my family, watching formula one car racing and hockey (I'm a Toronto Maple Leafs fan), and enjoying the outdoors. I also enjoy expanding my horizons a bit by reading a variety of books.
